UPS issue – degraded power protection
Update
On 02-09-2026 at 13:08, a fault occurred in the UPS system supporting our datacenter infrastructure.
The datacenter remains fully operational and customer services are currently unaffected. However, the UPS is operating in a degraded state. At this time, battery backup is not available, which means the datacenter is temporarily operating without normal UPS autonomy in the event of a utility power failure.
We are in contact with Schneider Electric and are analyzing the fault together with their technical specialists. The next steps will be determined based on the outcome of this analysis.
As part of the required maintenance, or to fully isolate the UPS installation, several switching operations may be necessary. Although the electrical infrastructure is designed to allow these switching activities to be performed without interruption, such operations temporarily introduce an increased operational risk.
Depending on the outcome of the analysis and the required repair activities, it may also be necessary to temporarily install and commission a replacement UPS in order to restore battery-backed power protection during the maintenance period.
At this time, there is no service interruption. We are closely monitoring the datacenter power infrastructure and will carefully prepare any required switching activities to minimize risk to customer services.
We will provide a further update once the technical analysis has been completed and the maintenance approach has been determined.
Should maintenance be scheduled, the applicable start and end date/time will be communicated in a subsequent update. Please note that our local time is CET during winter and CEST during summer.
